A lot of people get headache after drinking red wine. But what are the reasons for it?
Some scientists did research and found some reasons for it.
First, red wine contains sulfites. They are natural in wine but they are also added in wine to keep the wine longer good. They say that it increases headache. All red wines contain sulfites but some more than others.
Second reason is because of histamines, it is a natural component in the grape skins. It is possible that headache decreases when drinking wines like these: pinot noir, sémillon, merlot of malbec. So you should try these 🙂
Last one is tyramines which increases bloodpressure and also headache. It’s also a natural compound in wine.
So for the white wine drinkers, you have an advantage in case of headache 😀
